Francis Krug is the owner of Proverbial Grounds and also a Whole Food, Plant-Based personal chef in Indianapolis.
Certified through the Rouxbe Culinary Program, he utilizes traditional methods for cooking and flavors and educates others how to navigate the alchemy of plant-based cooking.
Francis also serves on the Indy VegFest Executive Board and is the Director of Food Education.
Indy VegFest is Indianapolis' premier vegan food, lifestyle, and education festival. The first annual festival in 2017 attracted over 4,500 attendees from Indiana and neighboring states. The second annual Indy VegFest will take place on March 31, 2018 at the Biltwell Event Center in Downtown Indianapolis.
